Nevada Assembly Bill 327 (passed in 2021, effective January 1, 2022) requires a psychiatrist, physician assistant practicing under the supervision of a psychiatrist, nurse, marriage and family therapist, clinical professional counselor, social worker, clinical alcohol and drug counselor, alcohol and drug counselor, problem gambling counselor or behavior analyst to complete two hours of instruction concerning cultural competency and diversity, equity and inclusion as part of their continuing education requirements as a condition to the renewal of a license or certificate.
This course has only been approved by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to meet the requirements of AB327 (2021) for nurse licensure. It has NOT been approved by the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) to meet the requirements of SB364 (2019) for medical facilities.
You must watch each video (total of 120 minutes) in the course and complete the evaluation to receive your CE certificate (Nursing Certificate issued by NHA – Nevada Hospital Association)
Course timers have been enforced to certify 2 hours of instruction. You may login and resume instruction at your convenience as progress is saved. Do not exit during a video as you will NOT get credit for time spend and will have to retake that video. NOTE: It has been reported that some corporate networks block external videos from playing, if you experience a black screen and the videos will not play for you, please try a computer outside of the corporate network, like a home PC or your cell phone.
